Non-Warranty Repairs

We offer a chargeable repair service for all out of warranty repairs. To arrange an out of warranty repair follow these steps:-

  1. Contact our helpdesk via the Log a Query option or on 01904 670670 and report the fault as normal. Please ensure you have the serial numbers of each faulty item. One of our support staff will log an incident for each piece of faulty equipment giving you an incident number.
  2. You return the unit to our repair centre for a quote, clearly stating the incident number on the outer packaging.
  3. Upon receipt, one of our workshop engineers will determine the fault and contact you with a fixed repair cost. This means the price we quote is the price you pay; it is not time and materials based. We aim to do this within 1 working day of receiving the faulty product.
  4. If you agree to the price, we will require a purchase order number before we repair the unit. The repair is usually completed within 5 working days before returning the product carriage paid. All repairs are warranted for 90 days.
  5. If you decide you don't want to have the product repaired, you must pay a £40 shipping and handling charge and we will return the item un-repaired. Alternatively we will offer you a £40 trade-in discount on a new product.

SUMO Technologies reserves the right not to offer a repair on certain products; however, we will inform you of this before you return the product to us.
