Terms and Conditions

SUMO Technologies equipment may be evaluated according to certain terms and conditions. If you sign and fax back an evaluation request form, you will be agreeing to abide by those terms and conditions which are laid out below.

The following terms and conditions are specified on the evaluation request form which you must sign.

  1. All evaluation/loan requests must be accompanied by an official customer purchase order, goods cannot be despatched to customer without this. Please note:- as per our terms and conditions of sale, the loan period for equipment is 7 days (seven days) from receipt of order.

  2. Purchase orders will be invoiced upon despatch, however, if the equipment is returned at the end of the evaluation period, a credit note will be issued to cancel the invoice. If after the evaluation period the equipment is not returned, the invoice will become due for immediate settlement.

  3. The title of the goods remains the property of SUMO Technologies Ltd, until the customer has either returned or paid for the goods in full.

  4. Any faulty or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of goods.

  5. The equipment will be checked for damage and tested within 48 hours of return. SUMO Technologies Ltd will invoice for any damaged or missing items (this includes power supplies and power cables). The equipment must not be opened or reverse engineered in any way and no upgrades of firmware or software can be loaded onto the equipment without the express permission of SUMO Technologies Ltd.

  6. The cost of return carriage is to be borne by the undersigned

We agree to the above Terms and Conditions for the loan and agree to return the equipment within the specified period.

Thank you for requesting an evaluation of a SUMO Technologies product.

We have attached an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) document containing the detail you supplied to us. Please print it out, sign and date it and then fax it back to us with your purchase order to: +44 (0) 1904 670570.

Once you have done this, we will contact you to discuss your request and obtain any additional information we may feel necessary to help you acheive your aims for the evaluation.

If an evaluation product is sent to you, it will be accompanied by a returns note and an equipment checklist which will help you to return the goods to us at the end of the period.

It is important that you read these documents on receipt.

If you are unable to find these documents when the goods arrive, then please contact SUMO Technologies support as soon as possible.

Evaluation extensions

It may be possible to extend an evaluation for a longer period, this can be acheived by visiting the SUMO Technologies website http://www.sumotech.com/english/evaluation where you can fill in a form to request an extension.

Note:

Please bear in mind that it may not be possible for us to accept every extension request due to high demand for certain equipment.

If we are unable to grant you an extension, you must still return the goods by the due date specified on your returns note.

The following text appears on the returns note which will be included with your evaluation equipment when you receive it

  • This equipment has been supplied in accordance with a SUMO Technologies Evaluation agreement and remains the property of SUMO Technologies Ltd. throughout the evaluation.
  • Included with this notice is an equipment checklist detailing which parts you have received. Please check, and notify SUMO Technologies Ltd immediately of any discrepancies.
  • At the end of the evaluation period, please ensure that all the equipment supplied is returned in its original packaging, to the above address, securely wrapped and suitably padded for transport. Please affix this note in the transparent self-adhesive envelope provided, showing the SUMO Technologies Return address, to the outside of your wrapped package, to ease delivery.
  • Goods returned must clearly show the Evaluation Reference number, or the delivery may not be accepted.
  • All equipment AND the original packaging should be returned in the condition in which it was supplied. You may be charged for the cost of making good any damage, or of replacing missing parts.
  • Irrespective of the methods used to return the equipment to SUMO Technologies Ltd, you must ensure that you obtain a proof of delivery. In the event of a dispute, proof of delivery may be required.
  • The equipment is due to be received by SUMO Technologies Ltd, on or before _____________
